Are you looking to plant new grass seed this fall but need to improve your topsoil? This is the time to buy. Our natural unscreened topsoil is a clay heavy rich topsoil that is a great bang for your buck if you need to fill in large areas. Other great uses is to add to a sandy topsoil to balance it out or to use as fill at the bottom of large planter boxes. However, because it’s unscreened, it can have weeds, debris or larger stones in it. Our ever popular screened topsoil is our all purpose product, be it in the yard, garden, for trees, you name it, the screened topsoil is usually the best choice. It has silts in it so it’s great for water retention, but may need to be amended depending on the application. Last, but never least, is our premium topsoil. This peat heavy soil is great for planter boxes or gardens that get watered daily or plant that don’t need much water retention. It’s also good to mix into your yard if you have a clay heavy topsoil in order to balance it out.
And if you need a little more “oomph” to the soil, any of these can be mixed with Dairy Doo! Just remember, it’s 2 parts topsoil to 1 part Dairy Doo so it would have to be a minimum of 1.5 yards.
